Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 15 March 2021, 2 April 2021 and 5 April 2021 in relation to the Proposed ESOS (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the aforesaid Announcements.

On behalf of the Board, HLIB wishes to announce that Bursa Securities has, vide its letter dated 9 April 2021, resolved to grant Hiap Huat an extension of time from 26 April 2021 until 30 April 2021 to comply with Rule 9.32(1)(b) of the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities in relation to the issuance of the circular for the Proposed ESOS.
