The Board of Directors of Hiap Huat (“Board”) wishes to inform that the Company’s Sponsor, Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad (“HLIB”) has completed their tenure as Sponsor of the Company on 31 December 2015 and accordingly, has ceased to be the Company’s Sponsor with effect from 1 January 2016. The Board also wishes to announce that the Company will not be renewing its Sponsorship with HLIB and will not be appointing another Sponsor.

The Company has fulfilled the requirement under Rule 3.21(1) of the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) which requires a company listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities to secure and maintain the services of a Sponsor for at least 3 full financial years after its admission to the ACE Market of Bursa Securities.
